So, I started running for reasons other than chasing a ball around and I think it is about time I kept a diary of races and times so at least I can remember what happened.
2006
29/05/06 - Bolder Boulder, 10 km in Boulder, CO. What a first race, 46k people. 59:40
04/07/06 - Independence Day Sunset 10k in Highlands Ranch, CO. Actually 10.6 km. Hot and slow but I won a 3rd place medal for my age group! 1:16:05
12/08/06 - Georgetown to Idaho Springs half-marathon, CO. In the Rocky mountains, 13.1 miles starts at 8600 feet so downhill but a long way. Apparently I turned grey after about 8 miles. 2:18:43, half-way split 1:06:50.
16/09/06 - Always a cowboy in Laramie, WY. 8 km. Ran hard for me, with no training. 43:20. Yeah.
